Treasure Hunt

0854copy.jpg (10051 bytes)The Red Star was abandoned on a sand bar across the Shuswap River from the Columbia Flouring Mill (at the end of Mill St.).

Over the years, the annual high water seasons took more and more of the old scow away, but legend has it that the propeller is still buried somewhere there in the sand.

So if you have spare time, try finding the only piece of the Red Star left and grab a hold of history.
