Francis Samuel Rouleau
Francis Samuel Rouleau, former editor of the Enderby Commoner, passed away November 26,
1946, after an illness lasting more than a year.
Mr. Rouleau came to Enderby from Kaslo, where he had published the Kootenaian for l8
years. He purchased the Enderby Commoner from H. M. Walker in l941.
Under Mr. Rouleau's management, the Commoner twice took second prize in its field for
front page and one third prize for general make-up. Mr. Rouleau sold the Commoner to J.D.
Tucker in May l946.
