Percy Farmer
On October 22, 1969. Mr. Farmer was officially presented with an engraved clock by Mayor Wayne Mcleod, recognizing his outstanding community services and the ideal job done by him as a magistrate. When given this he just said, "I was only doing my job." The attorney general's department didn't want to replace Judge Farmer and didn't see fit to accept any of the city's recommendations. Percy Farmer wasn't only outstanding as a magistrate, he was also successful in his 15 years on city council and as a member of the hospital board. Mr. Farmer was one of those people who cared, and for this people loved him. He died in 1975. Leanne Sylvester, Karleen Schwaab, Ryan Hunt |
