City Clerks in Enderby The first City Clerk in Enderby was Graham Rosoman, who was appointed on March 31, 1905. From the time
of the City's incorporation in 1905, until 1939, Graham Rosoman remained in this post. In
the early years of City Hall, his name was a domineering one in the office of City Clerk.
When Rosoman retired, his daughter, Hazel Rosoman, followed him in office. Hazel took over
on September 1, 1939 and she remained City Clerk until 1957.
Jim Watt followed Hazel Rosoman as the City Clerk from 1957 until 1979. Jim Watt was then
succeeded by Norman Hoas and then Sebo Wolderingh, and finally in 1981 by Ron Fried, who
is the current City Clerk in Enderby.
The City Clerk's main objective and purpose is to keep a record of the minutes of the City
Council's meetings, and the job of collecting fees from the public.
