1915-1919

Harry Tomkinson (1915) first grocery, feed and dry goods store
Bill Tomkinson (1915) first shoemaker shop
A.Tomkinson owned building which first served as an office for Tomkinson sawmill, then used for bicycle sales and repairs, etc. Finally used as garage which it stayed as, until well into the 70's

1920-1929

A.Tomkinson (1920's) first garage to sell electronics - radios, etc
Dick Clark (mid 20's) sold Ogilvie flour and live stock feeds, building also contained pool hall and, for a short time, a school classroom. Also used as a bakery for a short time.
J. Monk and Son (1922) grocery store, post office
John Hull (late 20's) blacksmiths shop

1930-1939

Gerald Hancock (1930) electric business which he ran from his own home
Charlie Chong (1930's) market garden
Arthur Tomkinson (1930's) rented tourist cabins
Dominic Milletto (1930) barber shop, then grocery store
Fred Wolf (1939 blacksmith shop
G. Barnes (1936) sold machinery in Dick Clarks old grocery store

1940-1949

Art May & Mr. Rose (1947) opened a garage in '47 which burned a few years later

1950-1959

Dwayne & David Couch (1957 Sure Crop Feeds, still standing in present day spot
Tony Feser (1958) rebuilt Art May & Mr. Roses' garage in '58. now known as Tony's Esso
