Lambly's Hotel In 1886, the Lambly
brothers completed construction of a hotel on a site between Mill Street and Cliff Street
near the river. It was originally known as Lambly's Boarding House.
The land and structure were sold to the Canadian Pacific Railway Company in 1887. The
building was moved across the tracks to the east side of Maud Street, and made into the
headquarters for the railway construction crew. In 1890, when the line was completed, it
became the Enderby Railroad Station. In
1950, this building was replaced with a new Railroad Station.
By the mid-1970's the structure had out-lived its usefulness. It was torn down, and the
land turned into a parking lot.
