Researchers are welcome to explore the museum's reference library and archives for information concerning Enderby and District. Clipping files and a reference library are easily accessible, with an emphasis on families in the district.

The Enderby newspapers from 1904 are available in hard copy, while other local newspapers from 1890 to 1904 are available on microfilm. The museum currently holds 6800 photographs in its collection.

Visitors are encouraged to look through the many photograph albums of reproduced photographs. Of special interest are photos of the forest industry, Shuswap First Nation, local events, farming, school classes, and local families. Photographers George Meeres, Merlin Dunwoodie, Ernest Burnett, and C.W. Holliday are well represented. Copies of individual photographs may be ordered.

The museum's archival holdings include maps, photographs, sound cassettes, video cassettes, and textual records (diaries, letters, minutes, manuscripts, ledgers, etc.). Of particular interest are records of the City of Enderby, the forest industry (poleyards and sawmills), the dairy industry, schools, churches, organizations, businesses, and individuals.
